Banana Bread

Do you have some overripe bananas just lying around somewhere in your fridge? In that case, you can make this delicious banana bread recipe for you and your family. Once you master this recipe, try personalizing it by adding toppings of your choice!

Time: 1 hr 20 min Serves: 8 people

Ingredients

  1. 2 cups of flour

  2. 1/2 cup white sugar

  3. 1/2 cup brown sugar

  4. 1 tsp baking powder

  5. 1/2 cup of oil

  6. 2 eggs

  7. Oats

  8. Chia Seeds

  9. 1 cup of mashed ripe banana (3 medium sized bananas)

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease a loaf pan.

  2. Mix the flour, sugars, baking powder, oil, eggs and banana in a large bowl.

  3. Pour batter into the loaf pan.

  4. Sprinkle some oats, chia seeds and sugar on the top of the banana bread

  5. Bake the bread for about 60 to 70 minutes or until a toothpick that is inserted in the center comes out clean.

  6. Allow to cool for about 5 - 10 min

  7. Enjoy!
