Ingredients
2 2/3 cups canned tomato sauce
410 g spaghetti, cooked
1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
2 cups kale, chopped
2 tbsp white pepper
2 tbsp black pepper
2 tbsp thyme
2 tsp ground turmeric
1 tsp salt
1/2 an onion, diced
1 tsp garlic, minced
1 tsp ginger, minced
1/2 a bell pepper, diced
1 tsp butter
1 cup of broccoli
Directions
Step 1
Boil the spaghetti using the instructions on the packaging
Step 2
Chop the onions, bell pepper, and kale into tiny chunks. Then mince the garlic and the ginger.
Step 3
Butter a medium-sized saucepan and heat it on medium heat. Once heated, add the onions and allow it to cook for 2 minutes or until soft. When the onions and soft, add in the kale, broccoli and bell pepper and allow it to cook for about 1 - 2 minutes.
Step 4
Add in the canned tomato sauce and spice it with the white pepper, black pepper, thyme, ground turmeric and salt. Reduce the heat to low and allow it to simmer for 5 minutes.
Step 5
Add in the spaghetti once it is fully boiled and mix it until it is coated in the tomato sauce. Then sprinkle the cheese on top of the spaghetti, cover the saucepan and allow the cheese to melt.
Step 6
Turn off the heat, allow it to cool until it's warm and serve. Enjoy!
