Here's a delicious recipe for some nice, warm, chewy, chocolate chip cookies that you can make when you feel like treating yourself to a nice warm snack. These cookies have a nice crunchy exterior with a nice chewy center. The dough can be saved overnight for the next day, or can be baked immediately.
Serves: 12 cookies Cook Time: 12 - 15 min Total Time: 1hr +
Ingredients
½ cup granulated sugar
½ cup brown sugar
½ cup salted butter, melted
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
½ teaspoon baking soda
¼ cup milk chocolate chips
Directions
Step 1
In a large bowl, whisk together the sugars, and butter until a smooth paste forms. Whisk in the egg and vanilla until incorporated into the mixture. Fold in the flour and baking soda.
Step 2
Fold in the chocolate chips, then put the dough in the fridge for a minimum of 30 minutes (the longer the better)
Step 3
Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Step 4
Roll the dough into balls and place onto a parchment paper-lined baking sheet, spacing them out so they could properly spread evenly. Press the dough gently until it is about 1/2 its size.
Step 5
Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges have started to brown. Cool completely before serving. Enjoy!
