Classic, Moist Banana Bread

Do you have some overripe bananas just lying around somewhere in your fridge? In that case, you can make this delicious, banana bread recipe for you and your family. Time: 1 hr 20 min Serves: 8 people

Ingredients

  1. 2 cups of flour

  2. 1/2 cup white sugar

  3. 1/2 packed cup brown sugar

  4. 1 tsp baking powder

  5. 3/4 cup of oil

  6. 2 eggs

  7. 1 cup of mashed ripe banana (3 medium sized bananas)

  8. 1 tsp vanilla extract


Directions


Step 1

Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease a loaf pan. Mix the flour, sugars, baking powder, oil, eggs and banana in a large bowl. Then pour the batter into the loaf pan.


Step 2

Bake the bread for about 60 - 70 minutes or until a toothpick that is inserted in the center comes out clean. Allow to cool for about 5 - 10 min, or until warm.
