Here's a quick and easy recipe for delicious cheeseburgers that can be made in under an hour. They're perfect for barbecues, parties, or anytime you're craving a juicy, cheesy burger. This recipe pairs perfectly with potato fries.
Time: 45 min Serves: 6 people
Ingredients:
4 ½ cups ground beef
2 eggs
1 ½ tbsp curry powder
1 tsp salt
1 ½ tsp black pepper
2 tsp thyme
1 tsp minced garlic
1 ½ tsp white pepper
6 slices cheddar cheese
6 medium-sized leaves of lettuce
1 small white onion
1 tbsp mayo
6 burger buns (toasted)
Oil for frying
Directions:
*Be careful when working with meat*
Step 1:
In a large bowl, mix the ground beef, eggs, white onions, and all the spices. Divide the mixture into six balls and flatten them to make patties as thick as your thumb.
Step 2:
Heat your pan to medium-high heat and add oil until the surface is covered. Once heated, place one of the patties on the pan and allow it to cook for about 2 ½ minutes or until well done. Then, flip the burger patties and cook the other side for another 2 minutes. Add a slice of cheddar cheese on top of each burger and allow the cheese to melt. Repeat this for the rest of the burger patties.
Step 3:
Chop the lettuce into medium-sized chunks and place it into a medium-sized bowl. Add the mayonnaise and mix it with the chopped lettuce until combined.
Step 4:
Assemble the burgers. Take one toasted bottom bun, place a burger patty on it, then put some lettuce on top of the burger patty, and place the top bun on top. Repeat this for the rest of the burgers. Enjoy!
