Here is a recipe for a delicious snack that you can easily prepare when you feel like having a delicious chewy snack.
Time:1 hour 50 min Serves: 20 cookies
Ingredients
2 cups oats
1 cup unsalted butter
1 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 large eggs
Directions
In a medium bowl, using an electrical mixer, mix together the butter and sugars.
Mix in the eggs and stir in the vanilla extract.
Mix in the flour, baking soda, oats and cinnamon
Cover, and chill dough for one hour.
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease cookie sheets.
Roll the dough into medium sized balls, and place them on the greased cookie sheets. Flatten each cookie with fork
Bake for 10 minutes in preheated oven. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 10 minutes and then leave it to cool on a cooling rack for 10 - 15 minutes
