This is a delicious, smooth and creamy hummus recipe that you can easily make in less than 5 minutes and pairs perfectly with carrots, cucumbers and naan.
Time: 5 minutes Makes: 1 cup of hummus
Ingredients
1 can of chickpeas (540ml), washed, drained and peeled*
3 tbsp of water
1tsp of garlic
2 tsp lemon juice
2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
2 tsp of salt
*peeling the chickpeas is not mandatory, but it will make a smoother hummus.
Directions
Step1
Add in all the ingredients into a food processor, and and blend for 3 minutes, scraping down the sides every minute. Feel free to adjust the amount of water or salt, you add based on your thickness or saltiness preference.
Step 2
Store in an airtight container in the fridge. Enjoy!
